Vineyard: 10 year old Albarino vines produce a classic Spanish style Albarino.
Tasting Notes: Our 2018 Albarino is a bright straw-yellow. This rich, toasty oak aroma on the nose yields to a nutty and subtle fruity finish on the palate. Aromas of vanilla, nutmeg, pear, and caramel are pronounced. There is harmonious acidity and smooth notes of green apple on the finish.
Wine Making: 100% barrel fermented & aged in new French oak for 8 months.

This is my favorite Fresno State white wine. It's not too sweet and it is very drinkable with or without food.
