Vineyard: Our Presidents Reserve Barbera is grown and harvested at the Fresno State Vineyards on the university campus here at California State University, Fresno.
Tasting Notes: This Barbera gives you an earthy/flinty nose with flavors of binge cherry, supple tannin, round full rich flavors of pomegrante, raspberry, and soft balanced oak.
Food Pairing: Our Barbera can be paird with pork tenderloin with apple or cranberry sauce, blackened salmon, thai red curry, antipasta with salome, wisconsin cheddar, olive topanon, and dried berries.
Wine Making: Cold soaked for 72 hours, warmed and inoculated with yeast, inoculated malo-lactic. Aged in French and American oak barrels for 16 months.
