Cap the first day of Vintage Days with a 'spring release' wine-tasting on the lawn next to the Fresno State Winery (2360 E. Barstow Ave) Friday, April 14 from 2-5 p.m. and meet our viticulture and enology students, staff and faculty.  
 
Be the first to taste four of the winery's newly-bottled 2022 wines (Syrah Rose, Pinot Gris, Albariño and Tailgate White). A few favorite red wines, as well as the Gold Medal 2019 Late Harvest Muscat Canelli, will also be available to taste. Fresno State sausages barbecued by Viticulture Club students and light appetizers will also be served. 
 
A mix-and-match half case special (six bottles for $50) will be available, and attendees can choose between the 2018 Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel Sargent and President's Syrah Reserve; 2019 Muscat Canelli; and 2021 Rosé.
 
Admission is $20 for the general public, $15 for Fresno State students and staff (with campus ID), $10 for Wine Club members, and Fresno State Enology and Viticulture students get in free. Must be 21 to attend.
