This rich, spicy Zinfandel was donated by the Sargent family of Amador County in the Sierra Foothills.
This dark purple/red Zinfandel exudes savory aromas of spicy, French oak, white pepper, black cherry, and cedar cigar box. These scents are beautifully balanced with flavors of fresh raspberry jam, tart cherry, and the kick of jalapeno jelly. It has a satin smooth tannin finish.
Cold soaked 3 days, fermented warm in stainless steel and aged for 20 months in our best French oak barrels.
