Son of Larry and Linda, and Head Winemaker & Viticulturist. As a teen, Michael started working in the vineyard doing everything from helping to plant and establish a new vineyard block, to training, pruning, and thinning vines as well as driving the tractor. He gradually became more involved in other aspects of the business, including working side by side with father and winemaker, Larry. He found grape growing and winemaking fascinating and decided to go to school and further his education in the field. He attended Fresno State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Enology. Michael became the Assistant Winemaker in 2008 and was later promoted to Head Winemaker in 2013. He is a firm believer in being thoroughly involved in every level of the grape growing and winemaking process to ensure the wines reach their full potential.
