Vineyard: Our Chardonnay is grown at the Belen Ceja vineyard near Carneros in Sonoma County.
Tasting Notes: This luscious rich, yellow gold Chardonnay is packed with aromas of pear, lemon, melon, apple, and pineapple wrapped in a bouquet of toasty new French oak. Topped with smells of vanilla caramel. Rich and round on the palette with soft oaky tannin and flavors of peach, vanilla, apple, and tropical fruit.
Food Pairing: Our Chardonnay can be paired with halibut, pear custard, lemon herb chicken, wild rice and ricotta stuffed yellow pepper.
Wine Making: Light-pressed, cold settled for one week, inoculated with Fermol yeast. Racked to barrels, barrel fermented, aged sur lie for eight months.
